1. People often refer to them, calling them by their myspace profile name.

One who has more access in a downtown scene than the normal or general public who frequent downtown. Down town royalty has frequented down town for sometime, generally meeting the high - archy(other downtown royals)in the early stages of downtown socialization through other then, well established downtown royals.
Downtown Royalty - not limited to one downtown scene, granted access with out cover, not waiting in line, brought to the front of a line, discounts, courtesy drinks, well known, not always well liked, etc.

Usually referring to a person or family that has had long periods of economic or social success in the United States. As the United States has no official royalty, the economically and socially wealthy take their place.

A pair of individuals who are so trendy, and attractive according to the "scene", that any and everything could be potentialy free.
