The girl had sent people pictures of her trying to prove something to them so that they would lie to hear and tell her what she wanted to hear, that she was the toughest person they had ever met. Really, people thought she was soft, and if the ones that didn't accept her as she was were the minds she was trying to change, she wasn't going to get it done by trying to prove she was something that she wasn't.
